Process

REQUIREMENTS

First we get in touch with you to discuss about your overall requirements, practical and aesthetic - how you see yourself using the garden spaces and what plants or garden styles you like.  For this, we require some photos of your area and an architectural plan with dimensions - in case you don't have either, we can obtain them on-site. 

DESIGN QUOTATION

Once we know your requirements, we present you with a design quotation - usually it costs around €2/m². We also show you designs and photos of other gardens we have done, so you may see the standard of our work before entering the design procedure.

DESIGN PACKAGE & CONSTRUCTION QUOTATION

Next comes the actual design of your garden. This is presented in plan view, accompanied with plant photos, annotations and 3D video (optional at an extra fee). As soon as the design is confirmed, we send you detailed quotations for your garden. These contain all plants, materials and construction fees - the exact cost for completing the garden. 

CONFIRMATION OF PLANTS & DESIGN

We meet at Solomou Garden Centre, where we can discuss the design and quotations and confirm or alter decisions. Also, you will be able to actually see all plants and materials that are going to be used in your garden - you can reserve specific plants or choose different sizes. 

GARDEN CONSTRUCTION

As soon as you are satisfied with the design and confirmed your plants, we can set a time schedule in order to commence construction - for this we require a retainer of 50%. For a new project, garden construction takes place after everybody who participated in the building construction, finish and leave. The construction procedure is coordinated by our landscape contractor with decades of experience in the field. Also our landscape designer visits the site, ensuring all tasks are carried out according to the design. 

GARDEN MAINTENANCE

To ensure the new garden will grow to be perfect, we provide expert support at our garden centre, through our experienced in-house horticulturists. Additionally, we recommend you a professional gardening team who can take up the maintenance of your garden.
